The Australian Ambassador kindly hosted the launch of the 13th Original Marmalade Awards at Australia House in the Strand; he also marked the third Australian Marmalade Awards. As we arrived the bells of St Clements Danes played the most appropriate tune: “Oranges and lemons say the bells of St. Clement’s ” a very apt tune for an event focussing on citrus fruit and marmalades.

Jane Hassell McCosh, the founder of the Marmalade Festival,  introduced the maker of the award winning marmalade for 2017, and thanked Thursday Cottage for reproducing this winning product that was now available at Fortnum & Mason and at Dalmain in Cumbria.
