A delightful concoction that blends the rich, fruity notes of cherry brandy with a refreshing twist. This cocktail is perfect for summer gatherings or any occasion that calls for a delicious, easy-to-make drink. Its vibrant color and sweet-tart flavor profile make it a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 2tsp Thursday Cottage Spiced Cherry Jam with Cherry Brandy
- 50ml bourbon or dark rum (or cherry brandy for a softer profile)
- 20ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 15ml simple syrup
- 1 egg white (optional)
- Edible flowers or lemon twist, to garnish
Directions
Add the bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a clean, empty jam jar. Add the egg white, if using, for a frothy top.
Add the lid and dry shake (shake without ice) for 15 seconds.
Strain through a fine sieve twice before pouring over a decent serving of ice cubes.
Garnish with edible flowers, a lemon twist, or a fresh cherry.
Enjoy immediately
