These pots are a delightful treat that combines the tangy richness of yoghurt with the sweet, tart flavors of Cherry Curd. Perfect for breakfast or as a refreshing snack, this dish offers a vibrant burst of color and flavour. 

The velvety layers of creamy yoghurt and Cherry Curd entwine harmoniously with the delightful crunch of homemade granola, creating a perfect blend of flavours.

Cherry Curd Yoghurt Pots

Ingredients

  • 500g pot of Greek natural yogurt (regular Greek yogurt or other plain yogurt will work just as well)

  • 4 tsp Thursday Cottage cherry curd (adjust to suit your taste)

  • 130g Homemade muesli (see below) or shop bought

  • A handful of fresh or frozen berries (defrost berries beforehand)

  • 80g Unsalted butter

  • 50g Soft brown sugar

  • 1.5tbsp Honey or syrup

  • 250g Porridge oats

  • 200g Chopped dates

  • 50g Flaked almonds

  • 25g Sunflower seeds

  • 25g Pumpkin seeds

Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 170 degrees fan & 190 non-fan.

  2. Line the baking tray with greaseproof paper.

  3. Place the syrup, sugar and butter into a saucepan and gently melt on the hob.

  4. Place the muesli and sugar into the mixing bowl and combine thoroughly.

  5. Next, spread the mix out on the baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.

  6. While the granola is baking, stir the cherry curd through the yogurt. 

  7. Remove the granola from the oven and let it cool.

  8. Finally, layer the granola, yogurt and berries. If you're feeling indulgent, add a small amount of cherry curd on the top!
